Year 4 discover the wonders of the rainforest

In 4KD, we have been making a wonderful wall display to demonstrate our knowledge of how a rainforest is constructed. We worked in twos to find out as much information as we could from the topic books in the classroom. Next, we shared the facts we had found with the rest of the class and asked questions about all of the different layers. We used the computer to find some of the answers. We had found out how different each of the 4 layers was and discovered some of the animals and plants that live in each one. To showcase our learning, we had fun making detailed 3D pictures and models of a tropical rainforest which have made a magnificent, vibrant wall in our classroom.
