Year 4 study deforestation in the rainforest
24th November 2017
This week in our Topic work we have been discussing Deforestations in the Rainforest and what impact it has on both the environment and the people who live there. We have researched four key areas - Farming, Mining, Dams and Logging. With all the information we have collated we are in the process of creating Powerpoints in groups to present to the rest of the class in our Topic lessons next week. As well as lots of facts these powerpoint will include inserted pictures, hyperlinks and videos to utilise all the skills we have been developing over the last few weeks.
As well as these presentations, all the Yr 4 teachers are really looking forward to the ‘Guess Who ?’ presentations which the children have been given for homework this week. Some of the children are relishing the challenge of finding the most unusual animals and creating difficult clues !
