Year 4 visit the Natural History Museum

This week, Year 4 had the pleasure of a trip to the Natural History Museum in London. They journeyed from the Earth Hall to the Volcanoes and Earthquakes Gallery on a spectacular escalator ride that passes through a giant, metallic globe. Inside the gallery, the students were fascinated by the pieces of volcanic rock and the heat proof volcanologist suit though not all were convinced by the incredibly realistic earthquake simulator!

It was wonderful and we learnt a lot! - Eddie
My favourite part was the earthquake machine because it felt exactly like a real earthquake - Katie
I enjoyed using the seismograph - Sam B
The rocks and crystals were particularly fascinating - Oscar J
