Year 5 enjoy solving a murder mystery in Maths

As this is mentoring week Year 5 have used the assessments that they did last week to set their own maths targets for the rest of the term. For many, fractions continue to be challenging and the children have been reassured that we will return to them before the end of term.

Year 5 have also been undertaking some problem solving; they enjoyed solving a murder mystery to re-enforce number types and also tackling some worded questions that require data to be gathered from multiple areas.
