Year 5 - "Every Little Helps!" How to be persuasive.

Year 5 have been learning how advertising works and how to use persuasive language. They have designed their own product which, as you now know, had to be a liquid. Their choices have ranged from shampoos to toilet cleaners! Pupils have had to write a persuasive pitch for their product, create an appealing label and draw an eye-catching and persuasive poster.

They have thoroughly enjoyed this project so far and hopefully, they can now chat with you at home about some aspects of the advertising industry. Who knows, some of them may well work in one such agency when they leave school? If you have any inside knowledge to share, please do talk to your child.
