Year 5 practice problem solving exercises

This week Year 5 completed the module of work based on multiplication and division. We ended the week with a number of different problem solving exercises. Some of the children worked on a maths murder mystery which required them to solve a number of arithmetic clues to solve the crime. Others worked on an nrich task that required them to use the properties of the numbers 1 to 25 to complete a magic square. All worked with enthusiasm to complete problems.
