Year 5 do some problem solving in Maths

Having completed their work on the recent Year 5 Maths topic of fractions, the children ended the week with some problem solving. The class analysed some problems initially identifying the questions that needed to be answered and identifying the key information that was required. They then worked in pairs to solve the problems, which involved the cost of some trips to the cinema and zoo.
