Year 5 study NASA worksheets in Maths
26th May 2017
In keeping with the rocket theme for today Year 5 worked on some NASA worksheets in Maths . During the week we have worked on fractions. We used fractions to discuss the number of moons and planets and added and subtracted fractions to determine the distance between galaxies. Some of the children also attempted space based questions to solve problems involving algebra, geometry and scale drawings. The general consensus was that the activities were challenging and fun and that they all had a great feeling of satisfaction from completing them!
