Year 6 create their own topic book - ‘Paddington Bear’s Adventures in London’
14th December 2018

Throughout the Geography sessions, Year 6 have been exploring maps and related themes of our bustling capital city. They have taken a ‘journey’ through the way that this fascinating city has been presented and represented over the years.
Skills and knowledge have been applied in considering transport, tourism, places of interest, mapping skills using six figure grid co-ordinates and directions.
London’s geography is complex and constantly changing and provides us with new insights relating to sustainability and environmental issues.
As we have reached the end of our studies, the children have created their own ‘little books’ on London so enjoy some of the lovely, interesting information they have included.
