Year 6 delve into the world of classification in science
23rd November 2018

The Year 6 students are enjoying delving further into the world of Classification. Having been introduced to the classification systems used in modern science, the children have found out about the main divisions of plants, recapped the groups of vertebrates and are now researching some of the groups of invertebrates. The pupils were fascinated to find out that snails and squid are both from the Mollusc family and that scorpions are actually arachnids. The students are looking forward to presenting their research in class next week.
