Year 6 pupils have continued with the Food Technology theme of 'Healthy Eating' by exploring the impact of diet on our mental health. Pupils decided this was a particularly important topic at the moment while so many of us are working from home and the biscuit barrel is easily within reach!
We discussed adjustments that could be made to our diet, such as drinking more water in order to help eliminate toxins from our bodies and eating regularly in order to stabilise blood sugar levels, which in turn make us less irritable. Pupils created posters based on their learning in order to teach others about 'How To Improve Your Mood With Food'.
