Year 6 learn about the refraction of light

This week, Year 6 have been sitting their SATs. They appeared unruffled by the whole thing though we are glad that it's all over now. In Science, we have been looking at the topic of light including the parts of the eye and thinking about how light is reflected. In RE, we have been thinking about some ultimate questions and considering how we use reason to persuade others of the logic of what we believe to be true. We thought about reconciling concepts such as God's existence with the problem of suffering. Some discussions were quite heated and we thought about the need for tolerance of the point of view of others.
