Year 6 look at Roman Numerals
6th May 2016
This week Year 6 have been revising topics in preparation for next weeks SATS tests. During the week we have looked at ratio and also Roman Numerals. The children enjoyed working out my date of birth from its Roman equivalent and also enthusiastically played a quick game of Roman Numeral bingo. We discussed why Roman Numerals are still important today and where Roman Numerals are still seen and used.
Please remember that next week the children will need pencils, a ruler, protractor and compass for the SATS tests but that no calculators are allowed this year.
