Year 6 practise mime and freeze frames
18th November 2016
This week, Year 6's drama lesson began with an exercise in mime and freeze frames. They tried to convey particular emotions through a frozen image. Can you guess what the children are conveying here?
Year 6 also took on a fixed word challenge. They were given a play title and then each group member was allocated a certain number of words, from two to five. Each time their character spoke, it was to be in this allocated number of words. It proved to be quite tricky!
Finally, their memories were put to the test with a game of 'Pick Up the Rhythm'.
All in all, it was a challenging and enjoyable lesson. WOH
