As part of our Evolution and Inheritance unit of work, Year 6 have been carrying out research about animals with interesting adaptations to suit their environments.
Camels can close their nostrils to stop sand getting up their noses - Josie
Kangaroo Rats can jump huge distances to get away from predators - Joe
The fur of an Arctic Fox is white in winter to blend in with the snow but brown in other seasons to blend in with woodland - Savva
