Year 6 - tudor buildings, ratios and scale
13th November 2020
Year 6 have been busy working on their architectural models of Tudor buildings. As well as learning about Medieval construction techniques, we have been discussing the importance of scale and ratio when modelling. The next steps will involve adding features such as a thatched roof and grass or mud. This is a new project for 2020 and the pupils have enjoyed creating buildings in miniature. Outside of school, the pupils have been asked to observe some of the wonderful Tudor buildings we are lucky enough to live near, in places such as Great Missenden, Wendover and Amersham.
