Year 6 welcomed Stoke Mandeville IMPS team
6th November 2015
We welcomed the IMPS team from Stoke Mandeville Hospital on Tuesday and Wednesday when they visited the Year 6 children. Helen and Lesley from the Injury Minimization Programme for Schools came to give the children advice on keeping safe. The children enjoyed learning about the recovery position and CPR, and had opportunities to try on neck braces, make their own plaster casts and study x-rays. The IMPS team taught them some valuable first aid skills with lots of practical fun sessions which they thoroughly enjoyed.
