I was delighted to finally be able to share our Inspection Report with everyone. Please do let the office know if you did not receive an emailed copy, or would like a paper copy. Thank you for all your kind words, which I have passed on to all the staff. Obviously it is a team effort and I am very grateful to all our staff who work tirelessly here, not just for an inspection, but week in and week out to ensure all pupils make excellent progress.

The summer clubs schedule has been blessed with some lovely weather thus far and it has been super to see so many pupils enjoying such a wide variety of clubs. There are at least two sports clubs outside, with an additional club using the hall space every evening catering for a wide range of ages and interests. Clubs are attended by an ever growing number of pupils. At least 84% of children are attending at least one club a week. Little wonder the inspectors were impressed with the club provision and the positive effect these have on the pupils' personal and social development.

I enjoyed watching some of the Year 3 boys play at a Football Festival at Chartridge School on Wednesday evening. It was an early opportunity for them to demonstrate their personal skills but more importantly they worked really well as a team with some intelligent passing and great goals. Well done boys!

I have also been meeting with potential builders to discuss our ambitious summer build programme and this is going out to tender this week. I will be able to confirm at the year ahead meetings what we will be able to achieve and the improvements this will bring to the school next academic year.
