Leavers' Destinations
Children at Gateway School undertake exams for the Buckinghamshire Grammar School transfer test and local Independent Schools. We are proud that the majority of pupils receive offers from their preferred senior school. This high success rate is attributed to the academic journey and the positive partnerships between parents and staff, in identifying the schools that holistically best fit the children

🎶 Celebrating 30 Years of Musical Magic with Mrs Izard! 🎶
🎉 Today, we proudly celebrated a remarkable milestone—Mrs Izard’s 30th year of inspiring children at Gateway School! As our beloved music teacher and head of creative arts, she has been a cornerstone of our community, filling our halls with the beautiful sound of harmonies and fostering a love for music among generations of pupils.
❤️ In a heartfelt surprise, the children and staff came together with a personalised song, beautifully written by the incredibly talented Mrs O’Hare (which can be heard in this video). Everyone learned it in secret, creating a special moment that showcased the deep appreciation we all have for her. Following the performance, we held a surprise party filled with familiar faces from her 30 years at Gateway, allowing us to reminisce and celebrate the countless lives she has touched.
🎵 For three decades, Mrs Izard has dedicated herself to nurturing the talents of our young musicians and singers. Through her guidance, countless pupils have had the opportunity to shine in wonderful Gateway productions, enchanting Christmas church services, and uplifting performances in our choirs. Her passion for the arts has not only enriched our school but has also created lasting memories for families and children alike.Her unwavering dedication and enthusiasm have made a profound impact on our Gateway community, shaping the musical landscape and inspiring a love of creativity in every child.
